HYPNOBIRTHING

I enjoyed how I came away from each session feeling calm and as though I had built more knowledge that will help make labour and birth better, as a first time mum it can be overwhelming reading lots of things on the internet and hearing different stories, but going through these sessions I feel better informed with trusted information. Alex made the sessions relaxed and we could chat as well as cover the information which I really enjoyed. My husband who is my birth partner listened along and although was not interactive through the actual sessions gained knowledge and we have completed some of the exercises together including the ‘worry tree’ and beginning to complete our birth plan. Both of us know how we would like the birth to go, but feel prepared in case things do not go as planned. I am really looking forward to using the breathing techniques and hopefully creating a lovely atmosphere for baby to be welcomed in to.

PREGNANCY YOGA

I have been practicing pre-natal yoga with Alex since I was only twelve weeks pregnant (now almost 35), when Alex said she was doing hypnobirthing I was really interested, I have enjoyed Alex’s yoga sessions, she is calming but also friendly and easy to talk to so being able to do the sessions with Alex has been perfect.

HYPNOBIRTHING

Over the sessions we covered lots of information which really has helped me feel a little more prepared, we were able to cover the topics mixed with talking and laughing which meant the time flew by and it never felt like I was being overwhelmed. The manual and mp3’s combined with the sessions meant I could read and practice before and after the sessions and Alex was able to answer any questions and clarify/explain things. She also helped point me in the direction of more information for example websites, which has been really helpful.

PREGNANCY YOGA

I loved doing pregnancy yoga with Alex. I found it very relaxing and a great way to stretch. Alex is very knowledgeable and on hand to answer any questions.Can't wait to start the pre-pregnancy classes.

TAI CHI

I love the Tai Chi class that Alex teaches. It is really inclusive and Alex is very patient and clear in her teaching. It certainly helps my balance and I’m really enjoying the YouTube videos Alex is recording whilst we can’t meet.

PRE AND POST NATAL YOGA

I absolutely love going to Alex’s classes. The yoga studio is amazing, she is fabulous and the classes are great both physically and mentally! Pre and post natal, I have recommended to a number of pregnant women and mums. Always look forward to a Monday! Thank you Alex.

TAI CHI

I am relatively new to Tai Chi and Alexandra made it very easy for me to feel that I was doing well and that I was part of the group. I find it a very relaxing way to exercise and keep mobile. Thank you Alexandra!
